Delta State Government Shutdown Two Secondary Schools Over Examination Malpractice (Read Details)

Two private secondary schools in Delta State has been closed by the Delta State Government over examination malpractice during the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

On a similar issue, 16 instructors have been endorsed by the Examination Ethics Disciplinary Committee (EEDC) of the Delta State Ministry of Education on the grounds of arrangement, include and carelessness of obligation.

The disciplinary board after its examination avowed that students of St. Vincent College, Ovwian, wrote the 2018 WASSCE at Anointed Secondary School, Ubogo, without WAEC or the service endorsement.

The two schools have been requested to be close down, while the 16 instructors included have been suspended from directing tests for a long time and advancement conceded for a year.
