A high school young lady distinguished as Amaka Nweke has supposedly been beaten to death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nweke, for dating a Yoruba boy.
New Telegraph reports that the incident led to outrage among residents of the Agility community at the Mile 12 area of Lagos, where the victim was living with her parents.
The guardians who hail from the Southeast locale of the nation were said to have been increasingly rankled that their daughter got pregnant for the boy, recognized as Ibrahim Lawal.
Amaka’s parents were claimed to have repeatedly subjected her to torture, including starving her during pregnancy.
The deceased and her boyfriend were said to have met when she was in Senior Secondary School (SSS). In this manner, the relationship prompted the pregnancy Amaka had, which her parents raged and kicked against.
She was later delivered of a baby boy, christened Zaeed.

“When Amaka and Ibrahim were dating, her parents were continually undermining her. They revealed to her that they didn’t need her to keep partner with the child.
What crushed the camel’s spirit was Amaka getting pregnant for Ibrahim. Her parents were enraged and starved her of food.
“At whatever point her parents were beating her, a few of us would approach and beseech them to stop. They used to beat her with various items even while she was pregnant.
Whenever her boyfriend brought food to her, they would not allow her to have access to it.”
