A middle aged man who forcefully had the c.a.r.n.a.l knowledge of young lady in Akure, Ondo State was caught and dealt with by a raging mob for his ungodly act. According to Punch Metro, The suspect was caught during the act by a resident of the Oluwatuyi area who later raised alarm about what was going on.
Although the victim was quickly rescued from the scene by the mob but she had gotten several bruises on her body due to beaten she got from the suspect for attempting to resist his advance.
Moreso, The angry mob had beaten the suspect to a pulp and would have set him ablaze if not for the timely intervention of the policemen at the scene. This is actually not the first rape incident to happen but it’s quite surprising that despite the capital punishment being meted out to offenders, rape cases keep increasing in the country.
