One Davison Osagie has been arrested after buying a car with a fake bank transfer and showing it off on social media.
The young man had shared photos on Facebook, and congratulated himself over the new whip while his friends cheered him on unbeknownst of the impending doom.
He had also shared screenshot of the receipt on Insta-story after the purchase.
However, luck ran out on Osagie after the management of the car dealership declared him wanted after realizing they had been swindled.
A lady, Rose Mary, shared photos of Osagie on Facebook and wrote;
”This criminal is still at large and very dangerous he is wanted by the Nigerian police, two of his friends has been arrested that is also on the photo with him ….and he is currently on the run , he bought a Mercedes Benz that he is currently cruising with a Fake Alert
anybody with useful information please send an Inbox”
The suspected fraudster has now been arrested and handed over to the authorities.
A video which surfaced online, showed the young man being interrogated by soldiers.
