The Ebonyi State Command of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, set up by Nnamdi Kanu has reportedly attacked a Fulani settlement in the South-eastern part of Nigeria.
They allegedly invaded the settlement today, Saturday and set houses on fire. According to the narrator in the video, the group was embarking on a clean-up operation to eject the Fulani herdsmen. “We don’t need Fulani herdsmen in our bushes” he reiterated. He swore that anybody who wants to confront the ESN must be ready to die.
There was no resistance from the occupants of the settlement as the onslaught continued. Nigeria has become more divided in recent times due to the regular clashes between the herders and their host communities.
Since the inauguration, the ESN has been confronting security operatives with fire exchanged and loss of lives recorded.
