Well known herbal medicine expert, Alhaji Fatai Yusuf, otherwise called Oko Oloyun was fired dead by gunmen on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
The trado-medical expert was said to be on route from a trip when the shooters took shots at his vehicle along Eruwa-Igboora Road in the Ibarapa Central territory of Oyo State.
While confirming the incident, Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Gbenga Fadeyi, said the state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, had requested an investigation concerning the incident.
According to Punch, the police said Yusuf’s corpse has been saved in the Igbo-Ora General Hospital’s mortuary.
“Gunmen attacked his vehicle on the Eruwa-Igboora Road in Ibarapa Central; they shot at his vehicle and he was hit by a bullet.
“The man’s corpse has been deposited in the Igbo-Ora General Hospital.”
