A picture has surfaced on social networking platform, Twitter showing a kunu hawker who embraced the cashless policy of the Central Bank.
In the image, she could be seen using Point of Sale device (POS) for transaction.
An Abuja based Influencer, @UmehWrites shared the photo writing;
“I just saw a lady that hawks Kunu and uses POS. Nothing can stop a hardworking and innovative Nigerian.”
The woman’s face was cropped out of the photo but her market and the POS were captured.

Nigerians who were impressed by her digital-oriented business mindset, shared their thoughts in the comment section…
@Olusegun_Peters; This woman has a fast forward mindset than even our government.
@Opium_poppie; I know her, she collects transfer too
@Ikman5; Then what is stopping some businesses that have higher turnover than the kunu hawker from using POS?
You hear them complaining about bank charges and all as reason for not using POS. So how does this small kunu seller break even with the use of POS?
@KcAkoma; I don’t really know how pos works. But I’m assuming they collect charges for every transaction. So say she’s selling a bottle for #100. How much will be the charge on that, About 2%? How much is she making from each bottle.
@Talk2Abby_; I love this woman’s approach, there’s no excuse for not making payment easier for your customers.
@UmehWrites; Cash, POS, transfer? She dey!
@eyiteeonline; She can even be dispensing money for people. Double hustle
