Colleagues and fans of Odunlade Adekola congratulated him, as the movie he plays the lead, ‘Elesin Oba’ becomes the first Yoruba-language film to be premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The film, directed by Biyi Bandele, and produced by EbonyLife Studios premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and executive producer Mo Abudu, as well as the lead cast Odunlade Adekola, Omowunmi Dada, and Deyemi Okanlawon, were on there to represent in style.
Odunlade took to social media to share photos from the event and his colleagues including Mo-Bimpe, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Sikiratu Sindodo, Mr.Latin, Madam Sake, Muyiwa Ademola, and others took to the comment section to congratulate him.
