The Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Screening (CUSAS) is a compulsory screening test of the institution for prospective students. It is held once a year before the beginning of the academic year.

As indicated by the Chairman, CUSAS 2020, Professor Kolawole Ajanaku, the screening exercise had been consistent since it begun on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. “Screening of candidates has been hitch-free because, at Covenant, we are accustomed to the use of ICT.
Since COVID-19 started, we’ve been on virtual, delivering lectures to our students and having meetings and conferences. So, I believe that’s the way to go,” he stated.
Not less than 3,000 candidates had at the time of filing this report indicated an interest in participating in the 2020 CUSAS.
Professor Ajanaku said that the University sent conditions for successful screening to candidates, and he encouraged parents and guardians to provide the necessary equipment and data for their wards to ensure a smooth exercise.
