A video has surfaced on social media from the anti-SARS protest which took place in Edo state on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 and it involves a police officer whose phone got stolen at the demonstration.
Youths had taken to the streets of Benin city yesterday to demand that government ends SARS and as was expected, police officers including SARS operatives were deployed to disperse the crowd.
The affected officer who is said to be a SARS operative, lost his phone in the process of trying to chase the protesters away.

In the video, the officer could be seen walking around frantically as he searches for his phone.
He laments over the fact that his phone was stolen, leaving both his colleagues and protesters in astonishment.
