• Famous Nollywood actress and comedian Funke Akindele was recently announced as the Lagos State Deputy Governorship candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party. This triggered lots of reactions among social media users, as youths consider her appointment as a hope for the youth in Nigerian Politics. If the mother of two is been voted for, she may become the deputy governor of Lagos State in 2023.
• Another actress who may come out victorious in 2023 is Tonto Dikeh. The famous Nigerian actress was appointed as Rivers State Deputy Governor Under African Democratic Congress (ADC). She shared the news of her appointment with her fans and other Nigerians.
These two ladies have become the hope for the youth as a good number of Nigerian youths are gradually getting involved in politics.
