1. Adetomiwa Edun

Adetomiwa Edun is a popular American actor who is from the Yoruba Tribe in the Western Part of Nigeria. He was born in Lagos Nigeria, to a Nigerian father, Olawale Edun, and a half-Ghanaian, half-English mother, Amy Adwoa. Adetomiwa started his acting career in early 2000 and he came to limelight for his role as Sir Elyan in the TV series ‘Merlin’, where he acted as one of the knights of Camelot.

He also played a role in several movies like ‘Law and Order’, ‘Death in Paradise’, ‘The Fixer’. Being an actor from the Yoruba tribe, Adetomiwa Edun can speak English and Yoruba language fluently.

2. Hakeem kae-kazim

Hakeem kae-kazim is a Hollywood actor who is of Yoruba descent. He was born in Lagos Nigeria by his Nigerian parents in the year 1962. Hakeem began his acting career when his family relocated to London, England.

He came to limelight in the year 2004 after he played the role of George Rutaganda in the film, ‘Hotel Rwanda’. He also played a role in other films like; Black Sails, X-Men origins: Wolverine.

3. Dayo Okeniyi

Oladayo A. Okeniyi is a Hollywood actor who was born in Jos, but he grew up in Lagos. Dayo came to limelight after he played the role of Thresh in the movie ‘ The Hunger Game’. He also played the role of Dyson in the film ‘Terminator Genisys’. Being a Hollywood actor from the Yoruba decent, Dayo Okeniyi speaks English and Yoruba language.

4. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

The Hollywood actor, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, was born in London, England by his Nigerian parents who were from Yoruba descent. Akinnuoye-Agbaje started his career and came to limelight after acting different roles in several films such as, The Mummy returns, G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra, The Bourne Identity, Lost, and Oz.
