In the past decade, Ghanaian celebrities such as Yvonne Nelson, Van Vicker, Sakordie and so many others have made names for themselves in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
However, in recent times, there are celebrities who are making waves in the Nigerian entertainment industry. In this post, I’m going to share with you some of these celebrities.
1) Black Sherif
Black Sherif is one of the popular Ghanaian artists who is currently making waves in the Nigerian music industry. His hit song “Kwaku The Traveller” is one of the trending songs in the Nigerian music space, reaching the number 1 spot in both Nigeria and Ghana on Apple music charts. Blacko as he is fondly called, has performed in several events in Nigeria. he also has a hit song with African Giant Burnaboy.
2). Gyakie
Gyakie is popularly known for her hit songs such Forever, Love is Pretty, and Never Like This. Gyakie has successfully broken into the Nigerian music space. The Ghanaian female artist has different songs with top Nigerian artists such as Omah lay, Fiokee, and Chike. She is said to be the most streamed Ghanaian artist in Nigeria in 2021.
3). Mawuli Gavor
Just like his compatriots, Van Vicker and Michael Majid, Mawuli Gavor has successfully broken into the Nigerian movie industry. He has starred in Nigerian tv series like Hush and Battleground, and in several movies like Chief Daddy, Sugar Rush and Rumour Has It.
Gavor has also made a name himself as a model, TV presenter, entrepreneur and producer.
4). Stonebwoy
The stonebwoy is a Ghanaian Afro-pop, dance hall and reggae musician who has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music space. He has hit songs such as Activate, Putuu, Ever Lasting and many others. Stonebwoy featured the likes of Davido, Praiz and Zlatan.
