Over the years, I have noticed that the general discourse around marriage and money has greatly changed. In the past, if someone where to outrightly say “I’m looking for only rich men to date,” or “I want to get married to a man that is rich,” that person would be looked like as a “gold-digger” or someone who “follows big men”.
These days, this is the norm. A lot of women are unapologetically and proudly looking for rich men to get married to. In fact, there are numerous best-selling books about the art of marrying rich.
Sometimes though, without trying or reading any books, some women find the love of their life and this love of their life just so happens to be rich. This is the prayer point of so many women around the world.

1. Mercy Johnson-Okojie
Mercy Johnson’s husband with whom she has four children, Prince Odianosen Okojie is one very wealthy man.
Prince Odi according to his Instagram bio alone is Chairman, Henod Group of Companies, Husband/Father, Real Estate, Hotelier, Politician, Philanthropist, Peace Ambassador, Believer of Christ.
He is the owner of Henod Luxury Hotels as well as the nightclub, Club Henod. He is also into real estate development which as everybody knows is pretty big business.
I guess we can all see now why Mercy isn’t exactly running back to work in Nollywood. She’s very comfortable at home.

When Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson crashed onto the scene all those years ago, it was impossible to take notice of the very beautiful and dazzling actress. She quickly rose in fame and became one of the most successful actresses in the industry. Eventually news broke in 2011 that Dakore had gotten married to Olumide Akande and this was a pretty big deal. Why you ask?

Nigerian actress Zainab Balogun popular for movies such as Sylvia and The Royal Hibiscus Hotel shocked all of us when the news of her wedding hit the news cycle. Nobody saw it coming. Especially also because of who she got married to.
Zainab got married to Dikko Nwachukwu, and if you don’t know who Dikko Nwachukuw is, he is the CEO of JetWest Airways. YUP! He owns his own airline company. Do I need to say more?!
