These women can do it all.

Okay, maybe not all but at least: act AND dance…these women can bust a move!

As a Nigerian, our music, our culture, the way we’ve been raised…you have to dance. You must dance at church, at parties, at weddings. The music is literally crafted to get you moving. Plus, when you add that from a young age, you were already being groomed through church dances and march pasts to move your body, it is no surprise why a lot of us can dance.

But now turning to our actresses, yes most of them have claimed to be good dancers. Some (I see you Tonto Dikeh, Chika Ike) have claimed to be not be really good dancers.

So of the actresses who have bragged about their dancing skills, which one of them do you think really eats up a dance floor.

Are you ready to dive in? Let’s go!

7. Ini Edo

Ini Edo has set the internet ablaze quite a few times with her dance moves. In one famous video, the actress wearing a mini skirt and crop top gave her fans quite the dance moves.

In another video, the actress can be seen cutting up to the hit song, Killin Dem. Here, she’s dancing alongside actress Funke Akindele, but soon a man comes into the picture and Ini and the man begin getting familiar on the dancefloor.

6. Uche Jombo

Last year when Nollywood actress turned the big 4-0, she celebrated the big day by posting a video of herself dancing to Naeto C’s classic song “Ten Over Ten” and fans couldn’t help but compliment the actresses’ flexibility in her dance moves.

And don’t get it twisted, the actress has been dancing from time. In a video posted in 2017, you can see Uche still cutting it up in her living room. Poor camera quality couldn’t stop the actress from expressing her joy through dance.

5. Omoni Oboli

Ah! Omoni Oboli is a woman who likes to boogie down. In a viral video, we could see Omoni breaking it DOWN in a fun dancing competition abroad. She’s clearly sweeping her competition and when is asked where she’s from, happily and proudly screams “Nigeriaaa” into the mic. Omoni, scream it! You re-pre-se-nted!

Sometimes, she even brings her husband into it and the two go head to head in fun dance offs.

The actress clearly doesn’t joke with her dance moves!

4. Chioma Akpotha

Speaking of another dancer that doesn’t take it easy on the dance floor, Chioma Akpotha knows her way around the floor. She’s always posting videos of her and her friends doing dance battles or just dancing together on her Instagram, and everytime you can just tell that this woman knows a thing or two about this thing called dance. Here she is dancing with actress, Ufuoma McDermott. They’re actually killing it!

In another video with the earlier mentioned Omoni Oboli, they are once again getting jiggy on the dance floor.

3. Kate Henshaw

Speaking of yet another actress who is in very great shape and loves to dance, we turn our eyes to Kate Henshaw.

The actress who is very into keeping fit and body activity, can unsurprisingly also dance to a beat and is a very skilled dancer.

Here she is at a wedding, once again breaking it down!

2. Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve is by far one of the coolest actresses in Nollywood. When you even think of the name Genevieve, you just think of how cool she is. That coolness extends into her dancing. I was so surprised to see Genevieve dancing, I was even more surprised to see that only Genevieve can make even her dancing look so cool. Effortless, breezy, so good!

In another video, the actress dances very skillfully to Olamide’s hit song, Science Student. Again, who looks cooler than Genevieve when they dance?

1. Funke Akindele

If there’s one woman who is ALWAYS dancing, it’s Funke Akindele. From her TV shows to her Instagram, Funke Akindele is always down to dance and we’re always more than happy to watch because she always looks so joyful doing it. Here she is while on a photo shoot dancing and giving us MOVES!

Here she is once again on stage giving it to the people as it is hot.

THAT’S ALL.
