In today’s article, we shall be talking about two Nollywood Actresses who are already 50 but look young. To some of us, we might say that slim people tend to look younger than those who are not slim. Well, this article captured both sizes.
Bimbo Oshin
Bimbo Oshin was born in Ondo State on 24th July, 1971. She actually became 50 on 24th July 2021.
She grew up in her hometown, Ondo where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (St. Anne’s primary school & Staff primary school Ile Ife). She later proceeded to Lagos State where she obtained her Secondary School certificate from Girls’ Academy.
In pursuit of higher education, she went to the University of Lagos where she graduated from the Department of Philosophy.
She started her acting career when she was in Unilag. She joined a group on campus known as Ara Osan owned by Rasaq Ajao. From the group, she started developing her acting talent by participating in campus dramas.
From there, she began to feature in movies. Her first major movie was in 1997. The movie was titled “Akobi”. Subsequently, she began to gain ground in the industry. In 2012, she featured in a movie titled “Omo Elemosho”, the movie that made her more popular than ever before.
She is now 50 and still growing stronger in the industry. Looking at her, you would say she is looking young despite her age.
Kate Henshaw
Kate Henshaw was born in Cross Rivers on 19th July, 1971. Kate who is the oldest of the four children belonging to her parents is currently 50 years old.
She attended St. Mary private school, Lagos before she returned to Calabar where she obtained her Secondary School Certificate from the Federal Government Girl College.
In pursuit of higher education, she went to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where she majored in Medical Microbiology.
Kate Henshaw professionally started her movie career in 1993. Her luck favoured her when she auditioned for a movie titled “When the Sun Sets” and was chosen to act in the movie.
Ever since then, she has been featuring in major movies in the industry. As it stands, she has acted in many movies to her credit and still counting. Seeing her, you might not believe she is already 50.
