The Federal Government has recorded conditions to be met by each school before reviving would be permitted.

The administration clarified that the measures were to ensure understudies against coronavirus.

Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, made the declaration.

He talked in Abuja on Tuesday at the 2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

He said while government looks forward to facilitating the Lockdown which will at last lead to re-opening of campuses, the Heads of Institutions ought to begin arrangements.

The minister instructed them not to hold up till the declaration on reviving before setting up all measures in consistence with the conventions and warnings of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC)”.

Nwajiuba said all organizations must have hand-washing offices; internal heat level checks and body disinfectants at all entering focuses including the doors, inns, classes, workplaces, and so forth.

He expressed that the premises of every foundation “must be sterilized”.

The minister coordinated that all endeavors “must be outfitted towards upkeep of the most significant level of cleanliness”.

Schools must guarantee “physical removing in class sizes and meeting spaces”.
