This comes after the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola, blamed the Academic Staff Union for Universities (ASUU), of hindering the reopening of universities.
Babalola said this in an announcement discharged on Monday and marked by ABUAD Head, Corporate Affairs, Tunde Olofintila.

As per him, the government ought to permit last year understudies of tertiary institution continue, much the same as students in Primary 6, JSS 3 and SS 3.
Babalola accused the protest from the “almighty” ASUU as the explanation varsities are as yet shut.
“I was not frustrated on the non-resumption of final year students of tertiary institutions, because I knew the reason why the government left out the final year students of university.
“Furthermore, I accept the Federal Government knew that on the off chance that it coordinated final year students of public universities, the omnipotent ASUU would question and for this situation, ASUU has protested,” the announcement read.
ASUU president, Prof Abiodun Ogunyemi, talking a week ago, demanded the Federal Government has not set up enough measures to contain the spread of the pandemic in schools.
