A young Nigerian man identified as Ugwu Chiagoziem has demonstrated that true talent overflows abundantly in the country.
18-year-old Chiagoziem from Enugu state, has built an inverter among other things like power banks, and a hybrid battery system to enable his family have constant power supply.
Ugwu attended Government Technical College, Enugu where he studied power electronics.
After being encouraged toward his innovative path by his brother in 2016, the talented young man was said to have built an inverter circuit with CD4047 which could give power to a mobile phone.
Although it got faulty shortly after, that did not discourage him as he made several attempts to build a more inverters and succeeded.
The inverter which currently powers his family home was built by him.
His skills have been with him since a much younger age as he was selected in SS2, to represent his school at a contest that was put together by the federal government.
