The Niger state police order has arrested 60-year-old Haruna Lawal, for supposedly assaulting an eight-year-old girl in Wushishi community in the state.
An announcement from the representative of the state police order, Wasiu Abiodun, says Haruna, a forager, saw the young lady while she was hawking fish in the territory. #
He supposedly offered her a N100 note and afterward brought her into an uncompleted building where he had trench information on her.

Wasiu said during investigation, Haruna confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
