A man has landed in hot soup after he stormed the home of a lady he’s crushing on, to steal goats from her yard.
Daniel Kemboi, a Kenyan, had been sending transport fare repeatedly to the lady but she refused to visit him.
Twenty-seven-year old Daniel residing in Baringo County, then stormed the home of the 24-year-old Jebet, who still lives with her parents, and took two goats and four rabbits to recover the fare he had been sending her.
He was however arrested by the state police after being informed.
The young man who hails from Koroto in Baringo North, claimed that he had sent Sh1,500 to Jebet on several occasions for boda boda fare on an agreement that she would use the money for travel from Kipcherere to his village home.
He was set to be arraigned on Monday November 2, at the Kabarnet Law Courts but was lucky the girl’s family agreed to settle the matter out of court.
