A young Nigerian graduate has revealed that she left her teaching job to become a commercial tricycle ‘keke napep’ rider to make ends meet.
According to the lady who graduated from University of Calabar, she took up a teaching job after she bagging a bachelor’s degree, but the pay was meager so she decided to quit and go into riding keke napep.
In a video making rounds online, one of her passengers who was impressed with her spoken English asked why she took up the job despite being learned.
In response, she revealed that working as a keke driver is more lucrative than the teaching job she took up after graduation.
