A man, Jones Ayuwo, has taken to microblogging platform, Twitter to share pictures of the Holy Communion that was given to him in a village church.
Holy Communion also called Eucharist or Lord’s Supper, in Christianity, is a ritual commemoration of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples.
Jones who appeared to have traveled to his village for the festivities, attended a church in celebration of the New Year and got baffled after he saw the food items being given as Communion.
In the photos he shared, the man was seen holding a loaf of bread and a cup containing an unidentified drink.

Reacting, Nigerians made jokes about the situation, with a social media referring to it as the last supper.
