Some of the prisoners recently freed from the Nigeria Correctional Centre in Edo State, have expressed thanks to people who freed them.
Videos surfaced online shortly after the prisoners were reportedly freed by hoodlums under the guise of #EndSARS protesters.
Two of the inmate who were seen running amid a crowd of other inmates spoke in reaction to their recently gained freedom.
One thanked people who released him, while they other said he had been illegally detained for two years.
The first escaped prisoner prostrated on the ground and said; “God bless una”.
While the second said; “My IPO Inspector Dele unlawfully detained me for 2years and ate all my money”.
