If You Are A Christian, Check Out 4 Reasons You Should Never Celebrate Valentines Day

Although the Bible said in 1 John 4:7-12. Dear friends: let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

But these are 4 reasons you should not celebrate Valentines day, if you are a Christain.

1) It is originally known as Lupercalia which is celebrated every February 15. Lupercalia is celebrated to honor not God, but pagan gods namely Lupercus (god of fertility), Juno(goddess of marriage and women) and Pan (god of nature).

This celebration involved ritual animal sacrifice and many other scandalous practices.

2) According to motivational speaker, Gladys Pule, known as Make Pule, says that the number of people who don’t believe in Valentine’s Day is increasing. “As a result they don’t celebrate it.” Almost all of them are Christains, so if you are a Christain will still be following those who Celebrate Valentine?

3) As born-again, Reformed believers, we do not celebrate any of the “feast days” of Roman Catholic/Early Church saints. If one celebrates the “feast day” of St. Valentinus, then why does one not celebrate the “feast days” of all the other Roman Catholic/Early Church “saints?” The Roman Catholics are at least consistent. They celebrate them all. Why are we just picking the feast day of Saint Valentinus?

4) Valentines Day Is Full Of Evil

Valentines day know as the day of love has become the day full of atrocities, people changing love to lust and many bad things like fornication, rpe, sxual immorality and seductions, etc.
