SAD! Nigerian Man Lost His life In Police Custody After Being Accused Of Stealing Cocoa In Ondo State

A promising Nigerian man has lost his life in a most heartbreaking manner in the wake of being blamed for taking.

A moderately aged man in Ondo State, Aanu Olanusimi, has supposedly passed on in the authority of the Idanre Police Division in the state, as per a report by SaharaReporters.

Olanusimi, a rancher, kicked the bucket in November not long after being he was charged and captured for supposedly taking cocoa from the homestead of a neighborhood boss, Akinruli, at Irikose in Ago Oni Rice Village, Idanre.

In a request kept in touch with the Assistant Inspector-General of Police responsible for Zone 11, Osogbo, Osun State, through the family’s attorney, Fidolyn Akindiose, mother of the perished, Comfort Olanusimi, said that her child was on his farmland when a cop recognized as ‘Londo’ from the Idanre Division came in organization with Chief Akinruli to capture him.

“It is our appeal to the AIG to use his office to take over the case from the homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and for the release of Aanu’s corpse so that justice can be done.”

Representative for the police in Ondo, Femi Joseph, uncovered that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Adie Undie, has swam into the case. Joseph affirmed that the episode occurred at Idanre Police Station and was at present being researched. He stated, “It is false that we are as yet retaining the carcass of the man.”
