In an interview that was conducted for Sunday Igboho, who happens to be the Oodua Republic agitator by Punch Newspaper, he was asked that how does he make his money because he is very rich and the response he gave was that, he is into car dealing business and that, he has also invested in oil and gas, and that’s the reason why he is rich.
When he was asked if he was the one who burnt the house of Seriki Fulani in Igangan when he visited the town, he said that he was not the one and that, as at the time he visited the place, he went to report himself at the police station there and that when he also finished what he went there to do, he went to report himself again, as the policemen even followed him there. He further said that it was the angry youths in the area that burnt down the house and cars, after they left that day.
When he asked if he was not afraid to die, as they might kill him over his recent activities in the South West, he said that he’s not afraid of anything aside God, as he said it’s only God that can kill him and no human being can kill him.
Sunday Igboho in the interview further revealed that, he doesn’t have any political ambition, as everything he has being doing was done for the love he has towards his Yoruba people and also when he was asked if it was Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State that invited him to the state of recent, he said that “no” that it was the people that are residing in the affected parts of Ogun that invited him to chase out the herdsmen away for them..
He further revealed it that people who burnt his house in Ibadan, haven’t been found till now and that, he has handed them over to God for judgement.
