There was tension on Friday when Hausas and Yorubas clashed at a popular Ibadan market in Oyo State.
It was learnt that trouble started when a Hausa man reportedly beat up a pregnant woman who accused him of littering the frontal part of her shop.
A Yoruba man popularly called Adex intervened but met his untimely death as the Hausa man allegedly hit him with a magic charm.
According to eyewitnesses, Adex who is a cobbler slumped immediately and started foaming in the mouth before he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he gave up this morning.
The death of the Yoruba man made his colleagues to seek for revenge which led to the clash between men of both tribes.
