A group of pupils in a foreign school appear to have learnt some words in the Yoruba language and it is all thanks to Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele’s Sceneone TV.
Yoruba movie star, Yeye Mistura Asunramu, recently took to Instagram and shared a video of some white children learning how to greet in Yoruba language.
In the video, they can be heard singing the various greetings as a tutor leads them on. The song is believed to be a rhyme sung on one of the episodes of the kiddies show.
Mistura posted the video clip with the caption;
“Wow, @funkejenifaakindele another great influence from sokids Tv.. even my kids watch d video alot.. No knowledge is lost.. kudos to your team.. omoghetto crooner.. opor.. lets always Appreciate our culture.”
