The Premier League has revealed that the 2020/21 season will begin on September 12 and run until May 23, 2021.
The English top-flight league disclosed this in a statement via its official website on Friday.
“Premier League Shareholders today consented to begin the 2020/21 Premier League season on 12 September 2020,” the announcement read.
“The final match round of the campaign will take place on 23 May 2021.
“The Premier League will continue to consult The FA and EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions.”
In the interim, the 2019/20 Premier League season will be finished up on Sunday.
Liverpool have already been crowned champions of the 2019/20 Premier League season.
