Due to the insecurity in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari, will on Thursday address a joint session of the National Assembly.
The development was disclosed by the president’s Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, on her Twitter account.
According to Onochie: “FireFLASHFire, FireFLASHFire President @MBuhari will address a joint session of the National Assembly (@nassnigeria) on Thursday 10th December 2020.”
Recall that the House of Representatives had last week summoned the President to appear before the house due to insecurity in the country.
Days later, Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila announced that the President had agreed to address Nigerians through their lawmakers.
