Watch The Moment Crowd Chant “We Don’t Want You” At Buhari In Maiduguri
President Buhari has been booed by residents of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, during a visit to sympathize over the demise of 30 people slaughtered by Boko Haram.
The video underneath shows a group booing while the president’s escort was going in Maiduguri. They could be heard reciting in Hausa saying, ‘Ba mama so’ which generally signifies ‘we don’t need.’
Then, an announcement gave by Senior Special Adviser to the President, Garba Shehu, see Buhari saying the “psychological militants are obviously on a back foot and their days are numbered”.
“As our armed forces continue to receive more hardware and intelligence to counter our current security challenges, the remnants of Boko Haram will ultimately be crushed. The peculiar challenges of asymmetric warfare notwithstanding, our armed forces are ever determined to defeat these enemies of humanity,’’ President Buhari said.
