Buhari Approved Nomination Of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala For Director-general Of World Trade Organisation
President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the normination of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, former coordination minister for the economy, for the post of director general of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Buhari pulled back the nomination of Yonov Frederick Agah, Nigeria’s lasting delegate to WTO, for a similar position.
The political decision is booked to hold in Geneva, Switzerland in 2021 for a four-year term that would run from 2021 to 2025 after Roberto Azevedo, previous chief general of the association ventured during a time as far as possible of his subsequent term.
