JUST IN: Buhari Government Gives Fresh Update On Reopening Of Schools

The Minister of Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, on Monday gave a report on the Reopening of schools.

Nwajiuba uncovered that all the 104 Unity Colleges across the nation are prepared to Reopening for final year classes.

He said this during the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 in Abuja.

As per Nwajiuba:

“All the 104 Unity Colleges are ready to open their gates to exit classes tomorrow, August 4, 2020.”

National government had shutdown schools in Nigeria, following the flare-up of COVID-19.

In any case, the Federal Ministry of Education had on July 27 declared that leaving classes of auxiliary schools will continue on August fourth.

In an announcement marked by its Director Press and Public Relation, Ben Goong, the Ministry had clarified that the choice was to permit the leaving classes take their final examinations.
