Ooni Of Ife Loses His Grandmother At Age 103
This is to declare the call to brilliance of Madam Comfort Faramobi Ajoke Olasoji Soji-Opa who was until the previous evening the maternal grandma of the Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.
Conceived in 1907 to Chief and Mrs Aina Akinyeni of the Ajigbayin Compound of Ile-Ife, ‘Mother Agba’ as affectionately called surrendered the phantom at her habitation in Ile-Ife the previous evening Saturday seventh, 2020 at the ready age of 103 years.
The innovative elderly person during her lifetime was an unmistakable merchant who studied food stuffs at Itaakogun showcase, Okerewe-Ife during her dynamic days. Her uprightness and goodness as a certifiable family lady and taught Christian earned her the fortunate situation of Iyaale-Opa(Matriarch of Opa’s Compound) and Atunluse of Ethiopian Church, Ile-Ife through which she admirably served her maker and humankind.
Mother would be significantly missed by all, particularly her close family, family members, individuals from Opa’ Compound(Ile Opa) individuals from the congregation, the market ladies every one of whom she committed her entire lifetime to in administration till she took her final gasp the previous evening.
Made due by Children, grandkids and incredible grandkids, the late Ooni Ogunwusi’s grandma is planned to be covered on Saturday, thirteenth June, 2020 at her living arrangement in Ile-Ife.
