The police in Ondo State have arrested an okada rider, recognized uniquely as Dare, for purportedly r*ping and murdering a 12-year-old young lady, in Akoko.
The person in question, Zainab Justina Adeyemo, was coming back from a task in a neighboring town when she boarded Dare’s bike.
Yet rather than take her to her destination, he supposedly took her to a bush where he r*ped her to death.
The deplorable incident happened on Friday, July seventeenth, 2020.
The casualty’s mother who talked with us, said the suspect was arrested after it was confirmed that he was the person who r*ped her.
The suspect later confessed to defiling and killing her in the bush.
He claimed that Zainab died as result of the struggle that ensued between them during the process and he dumped her body in the bush.
He said he raped her multiple times, noting that he is married and his wife is 6 months pregnant.
