Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has forced a 24-hour time curfew on Jemaa and Kaura nearby government territories of the state because of the rising insecurity in the two councils.
The governor imposed the curfew after last night’s attack by gunmen at Zikpak, Ungwan Masara in Fantsuam chiefdom of Jemma nearby government, and Maraban Kagoro in Kaura neighborhood government where nine individuals were allegedly killed.
A month ago, the Governor forced a comparable curfew on Zango Kataf and Kauru nearby government because of consistent common assaults in the zone.
Despite the fact that the police are yet to confirm the quantity of losses from the most recent assault, local people said that nine bodies have been recuperated after the assault.

An indigene of the territory disclosed to Channels Television that the shooters, in their huge numbers, raged Zikpak town in the night and began shooting inconsistently. At that point they continued to neighboring Ungwan Masara and Maraban Kagoro people group and also carried similar attacks with houses burnt.
The latest attack, however, prompted residents of Garaje in Kaura local government to block the Kafanchan-Kagoro road to protest the incessant attacks but they were later dispersed by security operatives.
In the interim, seven individuals were likewise killed and two others harmed after desperados assaulted Agwala Magyaki town of Doka Avong District in Kajuru neighborhood government on Thursday night.
Several people are said to be missing after the attack while houses were burnt.
While the police are yet to confirm the incident, the Chairman of Kajuru neighborhood government, Cafra Caino revealed to Channels television that the bandits invaded the community at about 7 pm and started shooting at people’s houses. Seven people were killed on the spot, while two others were wounded.
