Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has berated President Muhammadu Buhari over the deployment of soldiers at the Lekki Toll Gate to prevent protest from taking place on the ground.
Recall that on Monday, it was reported that some security operatives including police, soldiers, and officers of the civil defence have stormed Lekki toll gate in Lagos state to prevent a second phase of #EndSARS protests.
Reacting to this development, the staunch-critic of President Buhari mocked the decision.
He wrote:
#Buhari sent soldiers to take over Lekki Toll Gate to prevent peaceful #EndSARS protesters from protesting. But he can’t send soldiers to Zabarmari, to prevent armed and violent Boko Haram terrorists from slitting the throats of 70 farmers#ZabarmariMassacre #LekkiMassaccre
