The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has uncovered the medication used in treating COVID-19 patients in Nigeria.
Ehanire during a press instructions on Tuesday said Nigeria has begun using Remdesivir.
Remdesivir is an antiretroviral sedate, in treating COVID-19 patients.
“We have been using that (Remdesivir); we have attempted that in Lagos as well,” he said.
“So, we have tried the antiretroviral drug to see what effect it has.”

The US National Institute of Health had said the medication worked perfectly against the new coronavirus infection.
In the interim, Nigeria has so far recorded 2802 cases while 93 people have passed on from the coronavirus disease.
