“Just Continue Praying For Nigeria” – Buhari Urges Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, urged Nigerians to continue to pray for peace and unity in the country.

He made the call in his address at the 70th anniversary of the Qaddriyya in Kano, News Agency of Nigeria reports.

Buhari, represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono, said prayers would foster unity and help quell insecurity.

The President also urged youths to take advantage of federal government empowerment programmes to learn trades and become self-reliant.

He further commended Qadiriyya leader, Sheikh Qaribullah Nasiru-Kabara for his support and spiritual intervention over the years.

Also speaking, Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, urged Nigerians to live in peace and continue their supplication for the nation.
