Nnamdi Kanu And ESN May Land In Trouble If Buhari Grants The Request Of NEF

According to recent reports, the Northern Elders Forum has told Buhari and the governors of the 36 states to protect the Fulanis in the South. This was after reports of attacks on the Fulani herdsmen and reports of them being chased away from their homes in some southern parts of Nigeria.

The NEF is worried by these reports and they’ve said that those attacking Fulani herdsmen and their families are setting Nigeria on a dangerous path and they should be arrested and prosecuted.

It’s no news that the Eastern Security Network(ESN) which was launched by the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu attacked and chased away Fulani herdsmen, burned their homes, and killed dozens of their cows.

Their attack on the Fulani people sparked reactions and it caused a social media clash between Aisha Yesufu and Nnamdi Kanu.

If Buhari grants the request from NEF and decides to arrest and prosecute those who are causing trouble to Fulani people in the South, ESN and Nnamdi Kanu may land in trouble with the Nigerian government. This is because ESN is among those who attacked Fulani herdsmen in the South and Nnamdi Kanu their leader defended them.
