China at last responds after US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, for claimed that the coronavirus originated in a lab in Wuhan.
Review that on Sunday, Mike Pompeo said there was “gigantic proof” to show that the new coronavirus started in a lab in China.
China’s Foreign Ministry representative, Hua Chunying, cautioned Pompeo to leave the issue to scientists, read more news here.
“I think this matter should be handed to scientists and medical professionals, and not politicians, who lie for their domestic political ends.
“Mr. Pompeo repeatedly spoke up but he cannot present any evidence. How can he? Because he doesn’t have any,” Chunying told a press briefing.
The World Health Organization additionally said the US claims were “theoretical”.
